DM-LAB, since 1973 acts as a collaborative environment for diverse theories and applications of discrete optimization mathematics. A group of PhD students graduated Yerevan,
Novosibirsk and Moscow State Universities, and Computer Center of
the USSR Academy of Sciences,
after their PhD studies become funders of the DM-Lab.
Special RDI focus at DM-LAB is the large-scale experimental data analytics and design and implementation of science embedded applied systems for state and societal needs.
Theory of Boolean functions, combinatorial analysis, graph theory, analysis of computational algorithms and machine learning compose the focus of research activities at DM-LAB.

IST-C, NGO since 1999 conducts the ICT Research, Innovation and Policy development in a way of a public societal activity. Initially IST-C was to serve an office in Armenia to the European Commission Framework ICT Research Programmes.
IST-C serves as the center of ICT NCP (national contact point) during the European Research Programs 4-7 and then in Horizon2020. Long years it represented the SARM (Standardization Body of Armenia) at ISO. IST-C is a counterpart of virtual scientific organization ITHEA (Institute of Information Theories and Applications) combining ICT Association, Print-house, Conference Center and Research Institute under a common umbrella www.ithea.org.
